Program Description

The Center for Quality Improvement and Innovation (CQII) is the cooperative agreement recipient responsible for providing Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program recipients (Parts A through D) with training and technical assistance to implement quality improvement methodologies and concepts with an emphasis on skills development and implementing sustainable quality improvement activities for those recipients with little or no experience in quality improvement.

National TA Webinars – Informational webinars guided by quality improvement experts and RWHAP recipients to share emerging practices and opportunities for peer learning and provide training on quality improvement topics ranging from new to quality improvement to advanced.

Quality Academy Tutorials – Online, asynchronous training courses for different quality improvement competencies and audiences with interactive tutorials covering a wide variety of quality improvement topics.

Engaging people with HIV TA Webinars – Informational webinars guided by quality improvement experts and RWHAP recipients to share emerging practices and opportunities for peer learning and provide training on quality improvement topics, while integrating the perspectives of and creating opportunities to involve people with HIV in the quality improvement work.

1. Using Quality Improvement to Assess & Address Low Health Numeracy

Quality Awards – Established to recognize organizations and individuals demonstrating outstanding progress in improving the quality of HIV medical care. Award categories include Measurable Improvements in HIV Care, Leadership in Quality Improvement, Involvement of People with HIV in Quality Improvement, and New to Quality Improvement.
