This session included a brief presentation from IHAP TAC followed by a facilitated discussion focused on methods and approaches to needs assessment activities, including tool development; what changes jurisdictions are considering or implementing from previous needs assessments’ methods and approaches; challenges with recruitment or reaching specific communities and the innovative or new ways to engage different communities; and using a whole-person care approach to needs assessments. Participants engaged in a rich discussion, asking questions and sharing experiences and perspectives.
